Job Listing: Data Modeler

Our client located in Durham, NC is in need of a Data Modeler to assist in the creation of Logical data models to support a large Data Warehouse initiative. This position was created to assist the current modeler on the project with additional business driven tasks. The consultant will analyze raw data from various sources to define the data requirements and create a logical view. At the end of a session, the consultant will need to present the logical model to the business and explain to them how the data will be laid out. Our client uses universal or purchased data models as their enterprise information model. The data modeler will be expanding on this enterprise model. The model includes traditional health care subject areas; member, provider, product, claim information. Applying candidates must have Healthcare Insurance or Healthcare industry experience.

This is a contract to permanent opportunity. Applying candidates should be willing to go permanent with our client.

Skills Needed:

3-5 years of logical data modeling applying entity-relational, third normal form techniques
ERWIN
Strong data analysis skills
Healthcare insurance background
Knowledge of Abstract or Generalized Data Models is desirable
