Today, my client is a first-mover in the wireless Latin Entertainment Content Space, and is one of the largest producers and aggregators of Latin content over wireless with over 6500 titles in our catalogue by more than 400 artists.
Their focus is to service their B2B agreements, which places content on all major carriers in the US, while continuing to grow our Latin Garage brand; the direct-to-consumer vision which seeks to maximize the distribution first-in-class Latin entertainment content via the use of applications, mobile social networks, mobile sites and websites.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Business Developmentās primary responsibility will be to drive profitable annual revenue and new business opportunities. This person will be an integral part of our continued growth and should be capable of making an immediate impact. Working closely with principals, the Director of Business Development will contribute to the overall growth plan and execute on many of its aspects.
Responsibilities
¿ Identify and target potential client segments and areas of growth
¿ Manage contact activity and pipeline opportunity information
¿ Create and cultivate productive partnerships and strategic alliances
¿ Represent the company at client meetings, local events and regional/national exhibits and conferences
¿ Track all business development efforts and report to Principals weekly/monthly
Qualifications
¿ 5 - 7 years+ of business development and relationship building experience in a professional services environment
¿ Deep understanding of mobile industry a big plus
¿ Understanding of consumer web/mobile landscape a big plus
¿ Proven network of senior decision makers within the mobile industry and ability to get to those who you don't have
¿ Entrepreneurial and pioneering attitude with a strong work ethic
¿ Ability to adjust strategies and realign priorities in a continually changing environment
¿ Proven ability to gain, develop, foster and maintain strong contact/client relationships
¿ Ability to cultivate relationships into ongoing business and generate new business leads from within and outside your current network
¿ Ability to strategically organize thoughts, concisely and clearly convey a sales position and draft a well crafted proposal
¿ Bachelors in Marketing, Business Administration or related area. Masters degree a plus
¿ Fluent and literate in Spanish
