Job Listing: Cost Accountant

Our client in Northern Kentucky is hiring for a Cost Accountant for a direct hire opportunity.

This position is responsible for the collection of manufacturing cost data, tracking expenditures, forecast preparation, month-end closing duties, preparation of the annual business plan and related cost variance analysis. This position is in a plant manufacturing environment and works closely with plant operating management to improve the cost performance of the operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with MBA and CPA a plus, excellent analytical skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). In addition, two or more years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment would be a plus.
