Job Listing: Oracle EBS Application Developer R11/R12

TEKsystems has partnered with a company located in Erlanger, KY in search of a Oracle Financial Application Specialist for a contractual opportunity. The ideal candidate will be a professional team player, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The job duties include but are not limited to the following criteria:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support the installation and implementation of Oracle EBS Financial modules and applications for GL, AP, AR, CM, Purchasing, Procurement, Fixed Assets, application services for A&F and HR. Responsibilities will include :

1. Database installation and configuration

2. Database maintenance and tuning

3. Setup and manage database backups

4. Cloning Oracle database instances

2. Work with Oracle DBA’s to understand database requirements to properly support and maintain Oracle EBS

3. Develop sufficient expertise with Oracle application services to provide support when Oracle Application DBA is not available.

4. Document and automate Oracle support processes to reduce day-to-day support effort for Oracle databases.

5. Maintain a positive working relationship with IT technical staff and HR functional staff.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years recent Oracle DBA experience

· Minimum 2 years recent Oracle EBS experience

· Proficient with Oracle 10g database

· Proficient with Oracle EBS R12, or R11.5 middle tier

· Proficient with Red Hat Linux

· Proficient with Unix / Linux scripting


Experience in the following areas a plus:

· Minimum 2 years Oracle EBS DBA experience

· 3 years programming experience in AT LEAST one of the following:

· C#.NET

· VB.NET

· ASP.NET

· C++

· People Code

· Oracle BPEL Code

· OEM Tier 1 system development experience.

Education: Minimum of Associate Degree in Computer Science.

Language Skills: Basic communication and presentation skills. Bi-lingual with good spoken and written Spanish language skills a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong leadership ability are required. Ability to communicate and work well with others in a group environment is a necessity.

Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills.

Physical Demands: Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, see and hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds. The ability to travel by automobile and airplane are both required.
