Job Listing: Piping Designer

Aerotek Energy Services is in search of a Piping designer with 5-10 years of experience in the design of process piping systems in the Oil Refinery industry. Cadworx experience is a plus!

·The Piping Designer will work from P&IDs, project standards, project specifications and vendor data to lay out and design piping complex piping systems for refinery, petrochemical and other facilities.
·Performs necessary fieldwork, including walkdowns of existing systems, locating tie-ins and measuring.
·Works with civil/structural and stress departments to ensure adequate flexibility and support of the piping systems.
·Prepare sketches for use by drafting personnel. Checks the drawings prepared by drafting personnel.
·Prepares his/her own drawings directly utilizing Cadworx software packages.
·Checks the work of other designers for conformance with project standards.
·Checks vendor shop drawings.
