Job Listing: LUST Environmental Scientist

Worldwide Environmental and Construction Management Consulting Company is seeking an Environmental Scientist for their operations in Chicago.

This Environmental Scientist will be working on Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUST) that may contain petroleum products or other hazardous substances. This is an immediate and permanent opportunity.

Job Duties Include:
-Preparation of correspondence, cost estimates, presentations, technical reports, and work plans.
- Maintenance of project budget and schedule.
- Coordinate and implement environmental investigations and sampling programs.
- Oversee remedial system installation, maintenance, and operations.
- Performing other duties as required.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science Required; Masters Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in the Environmental Engineering field.
- Experience with corrective action processes for Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) management, site assessments, remediation, environmental compliance.
- Experience working on Reimbursement projects necessary.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training strongly preferred.
- Positive attitude and self starter.
- Good job stability.
