Systems Integration Analyst with experience working in and administering UNIX (Solaris) based servers; Database Administration of Microsoft SQL and Oracle servers; Intermediate skills in ASP, ASP.NET, C#, XML, XSLT, ADO.NET, COM Objects, Javascript, AJAX, and Web Services development; Intermediate skills in creating reports using Crystal Reports, Crystal Enterprise, SSRS 2000 - 2005, or COGNOS; Integrations Skills using Web Services and experience in integrating and working with enterprise applications; Experience in all stages of the software development life cycle, including gathering and documenting requirements, design and implementation. Experience supporting IIS 5.0 onwards, Apache and Tomcat.
The Support Technologies Group (STG) works in coordination with the Service Desk Manager, various Technical Support communities and other Teams to deliver excellent IT technical support with a high degree of customer satisfaction and timeliness meeting Service Level Agreements and Objectives. This position has frequent contact with Service Desk customers, peers and managers. The successful candidate should be able to quickly learn the Customer’s environment, identify what needs to be done, keep the customer and team apprised of status and produce results with little input from management; Lead and participate in projects focusing on complex business issues; Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer needs; May include managing escalated issues and customer recovery situations; Develop and/or update support plans for new product releases; Prepare team for product releases, and monitor product related issues.
The Customer has Microsoft and Unix (Solaris) environments which support the Remedy Action Request System (ARS), Aspect Call Center, KNOVA Knowledge Base, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), SQL Server 2005 (including the SQL Server Reporting Services), and various reporting functions for the NIH Service Desk. Candidate will be required to support the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 instances as well as Oracle instances. These instances support the various applications on each system. Support activities will include configuration and maintenance of database backup jobs as well as maintaining and enhancing data transfer jobs currently in operation on these servers. The candidate will also be tasked with supporting the creation of reports against the databases using various office tools including, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Cognos. The candidate will be responsible for posting these reports to the web interface for use by the various support customers.

Desired Skills
The following skills are desired but not required for this position: Experience with SSIS, Business Intelligence, Analysis Services, and Database Replication; Exposure to the KNOVA Knowledge Management System, Aspect Call Distribution system and Remedy Ticketing system.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 5+ years related experience.
