Job Listing: Sr. Software Systems Engineer

Our Client, a leading provider of scientific, engineering, systems integration and technical services and products to the U.S. Military and DoD, is currently seeking a Sr. Software Systems Engineer.

As the Sr. Software Systems Engineer you will support tactical subsystem development for Military and DoD projects. Candidates may organize, manage, and lead teams of multi-disciplined (engineering, quality, acquisition, production, logistics, & test) professionals organized to accomplish specific projects.

Responsibilities include:
- Identification and prioritization of interface & performance requirements
- Development, coordination, and execution of mitigation & resolution plans
- Ability to work within a team and function with minimal supervision
- Data security and privacy

Qualification:
- Minimum 10-15 yrs experience (minimum 3 yrs systems engineering experience)
- Integration vs. programming
- Requirement traceability
Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical requirements
Understanding of circuits / hardware / firmware
5+ years of experience with C in RTOS
Mature enough to lead a project, build briefings, speak in front of customers
(+) DOD / Avionics / Aerospace experience or exposure

This position is a permanent opening. Due to the varying responsibilities, the Sr. Software Systems Engineer selected for this opening will be hired on a Contract-to-Hire basis in order to allow for proper performance evaluation. The contract portion will have a duration of 6 months.
