Job Listing: CAD Manager/ Job Captain

The CAD Manager/ Job Captain is the highest-level CAD operator within the firm. Fully experienced CAD Manager/Job Captain that can perform any assignment quickly and accurately.

Duties:
- Provide leadership, training and development to all AutoCAD Drafters and Job Captain.

- Must enforce existing CAD Standards and Guidelines between each Design/ Project team throughout the office.

- Update and organize CAD standards and Guidelines to improve the quality and speed.

- Ability to train the office staff on any new CAD Standards and Procedures.

- Ability to review progress CAD drawings or prints to insure consistency and quality control.

- Must have extensive knowledge and experience working with AutoCAD 2005 or greater.

- Attend and coordinate outside CAD training seminars and continuing education courses outside the office.

- Responsible for providing coordination of drafting and sketching out details that is required to make the project ready for the bidding process and construction.

- Experience with working on multiple projects at a time with the primary concern of construction documents.

- Requires thorough knowledge of architectural drafting, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction.
