Title: Sr. Controls Engineer
Location: Houston, TX

Manufacturing company seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer to be responsible for controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up assistance.

Hiring Criteria:
- A minimum of 5 yrs experience in a similar position is required.

- Must have proven experience in PLC (logic and programming) with any of the following PLC’s: Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Siemens, AutomationDirect, Mitsubishi, Omoron, Aromat, Toshiba, etc; and HMI or SCADA

- (Programming and Configuration) of any of the following software packages: Wonderware, Rockwell, Intellution, GE Cimplicity, CI-Tech and Siemens.

- Siemens Step 7 Programming required

- Panel design and layout, bill of materials, and wiring schematic capabilities are expected with this position.

- Must have experience reading and red-lining PI&D drawings.

- BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering is desired.

- Drilling industry experience preferred
