Job Listing: Lab Technician

A large Life Sciences company is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician to work in their polymers division.

Duties of this position are as follows:

- With guidance from supervision, primary responsibility is to assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information handling tasks in support of scientific research.
- Perform tasks according to accepted methods and training prescribed by the work group.

Responsibilities:
- Injection Molding Area Technician Provide primary processing and product support for Engineering Polymers.
- Set up, operate and maintain injection molding machines and all auxiliary support equipment.
- Experience with setting up, operating, and fine tuning injection molding and other plastic processing equipment.
- Understanding of time, temperature, and pressure relationships during the processing of engineering polymer resins.
- Posses computer skill adequate to manipulate equipment controls and generate reports as requested.
- Communicate comfortably with internal and external customers.
- Can solve problems, good planning, organization, and prioritizing.

Education:
- Technical degree, associates degree or equivalent work experience.
