Job Listing: Production Planner

My client in Carlsbad, NJ is looking for an experience Production Planner.

Responsibilities:

Master schedule build-to-forecast and built-to-order product lines.

Develops production schedules using MRP system.

Release orders to the production floor and outside supplier.

Expedites materials required for production.

Works in conjunction with production personnel to understand and optimize production capacity.

Create BOMs, routing, product structure for new products.

Participates on New Product transition team.

Prepares production reports on monthly/quarterly schedule.

Coordinates with production to ensure proper priorities of production activities.

Coordinate with mrp provider on software updates, launches, and issues.

Coordinate new report creation with mrp provider.

Conducts inventory/production reconciliations as required.
