Job Listing: Electrical Designer

Our client located in Columbus, Ohio is looking for an electrical designer. The company works with substations and transmissions in the energy sector.

The position responsibilities are as follows:
-Design of electrical wiring circuits related to protection and control relay logic circuits, measurements and data acquisition
-Applying the appropriate standard in the creation of elementary, control wiring, and AC/DC wiring diagrams used in construction and operational use
-Create point to point control wiring diagrams including all internal and external relay panel wiring as well as AC/DC service panel wiring
-Develop complete bill of materials and execute timely ordering of material items in order to meet distinguished schedule requirements
-Operate a CADD workstation for creating and modifying elementary and control wiring diagrams as well as use in ordering a bill of material items

The job qualifications are as follows:
-A minimum of a 2 year Associates Degree in Electrical is required
-1 to 2 years experience
-Experience creating wiring diagrams
-Experience with Schematics
-Experience with a CAD package or MicroStation

The shift can be a flex schedule of Monday through Friday (8 to 5), 5 days of 9 hours Monday through Thursday and a half day on Friday, or a 4 10 hour shift Monday through Thursday.
