Job Listing: VB/ASP Developer

TEKsystems currently has a 4-6 month plus contract opportunity available for an ASP/VB Developer. It will be heavy classic ASP and VB development with some exposure to .net technologies.

The application is a large, ASP based, mission critical Enterprise system that delivers our clients Direct Mail Print Management services to the customer's desktop on a customized basis, and is a sales and ordering tool.

This assignment is roughly for at least 4 months duration and possibly as much as a year and has the potential to go permanent.

- VB and ASP development experience for Internet applications
- ASP.Net and SQL Server
- Strong XML / HTML / VBScript skills
- Strong skills with MS Visual Studio
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Self-starter/shows initiative and works with minimal supervision
- Follows and takes directions well and works with urgency
- Works well in team environment
- Involved in the full development life cycle of a project
- Optional Requirements are a PLUS:
1. Experience working with off-shore resources and remote team
members.
