Job Listing: VMware Subject Matter Expert

Our client, a top technology services company, is seeking a VMware SME on a contract-to-hire basis.

On a day to day basis, this individual will act as a technical lead and mentor to the sales teams including channel and reseller partners as well as becoming a trusted advisor and solution architect for prospective customers. Must be able to acknowledge, digest and respond to customer requirement, mood and expectations to effectively communicate and deliver the right level of information to a variety of contact levels. Must be able to explain the market, and take on the role of teacher and/or defensive tactician, positioning the clients strengths in highly competitive and potentially often contested sales cycles.

To be qualified for this position, individuals must have 3+ years of VMware experience, 5+years of supporting and marketing data solutions. Must have the ability to present business solutions in front of large audiences and communicate market and product requirements. Must have working knowledge of MS Exchange, AD, Sharepoint, SAN, Network Topologies, and Data Protection.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. There is expected occasional travel.
