Job Listing: Purchasing

A client of Aerotek's is currently seeking a purchaser for their company outside Buffalo. This position is a 12 month contract to hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Generating requisitions for material

* Working with buyers to generate bids and quotes where necessary

* Working with buyers to finalize purchase orders

* Material tracking and expediting reporting

* Handling material issues, and working with suppliers to coordinate deliveries.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Proficiency in word, excel, and microsoft outlook

* Candidates must understand electrical construction or process types of electrical materials

* Previous experience in electrical/construction
