Job Listing: Mechanical Designer

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our engineering firm here in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a HVAC designer position where the individual will assist with the development of design drawings for HVAC systems.

Major job duties include:

* Provide HVAC and plumbing design support for commercial and industrial construction projects.
* Familiar with engineering design best practices and standards
* Perform code research and compliance investigation for plumbing and HVAC design.
* Generate HVAC and plumbing design and coordination drawings with minimum supervision.

Job requirements and qualifications:

* Associates degree in drafting/design or applicable technical experience
* A minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing HVAC and plumbing systems.
* Experienced with MS Word, Excel
* Familiarity with cooling load calculation, duct design, and equipment selection software
* Detail oriented and has basic mathematical abilities for layout, dimensioning and other calculation as required.
