Job Listing: Electrical/Controls Engineer

Aerotek and its client are looking for a Electrical/Controls Engineer for a Direct Hire in Covington, GA.

Job Responsibilities:
-Support manufacturing, maintenance and engineering by repair, modification, troubleshooting, testing and/or design of manufacturing production equipment through the application of electrical engineering principles and theory.
-Modification and troubleshooting of production equipment.
-Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.
-Assemble, test and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals and knowledge of electronics using hand and power tools
-Design basic circuitry and draft sketches for clarification of details and design documentation under engineer's direction and computer aided design equipment
-Fabricate parts
-Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts
-Test electronics units using standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment.
-Maintains Engineering Documentation
