Position Description:
We are searching for a test analyst with prior applications testing experience.
Ideally a entry level automated tester who would like to gain more experience or a mid level manual tester would be a good fit.
Primary responsibilities would be to:
Design/plan/implement test strategies and test cases to support the development cycles
Execute tests according to established plans and scripts, documents problems and retest software corrections to ensure problems are resolved
Documents defects/problems and works to resolve them; reports progress on problem resolution to management
Analyzes user requirements, current procedures, and develops solutions to improve or automate the testing process
Analyzes test results and effectively communicates findings in writing and verbally
Assists with the overall implementation strategy for system testing including: functional; performance/load/stress; parallel; regression, and user acceptance testing
Develops and updates System Testing documentation in an efficient and timely manner according to departmental standards and procedures
Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies
Strong self-directed work style; works independently and/or in a team with little or no supervision. Ability to effectively multi-task.
Essential requirements:
MUST have or be able to obtain a DOD ADP-II clearance and PASS an extensive drug and background check.
Excellent verbal and written communications
Strong team player
Deadline oriented, results driven person
Experienced with Microsoft Office software
Three years of technical experience in applications software development or testing
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field.
Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
Ability and willingness to work in Ft. Knox, KY
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Preferred Skills:
Experience developing, executing and maintaining test cases and test scripts (automation)
Experience using Mercury Interactive Testing Suite
Military background and/or recruiting experience
Experience with military and/or recruiting applications
Strong client facing skills
MS Project and Visual Basic experience
