Job Listing: Software Developer

This company is in the industry of providing touch screen gaming entertainment. Their products can be found from households to bar rooms to arcades.
The overall responsibility of this team is for development, integration, deli every, and support of its core product line.

They are currently looking to add a member to their software development team. This person will be a contributor and will be responsible for:

- Design
- Implementation
- Low Level Development of components within an embedded Linux Environment.


Any combination of the characteristics below can be possessed even if that means not possessing some of these characteristics.

- Comfortable switching between C and C++
- POSIX API's (Multithreading, sockets)
- Experience developing embedded Linux products
- Knowledge of Linux kernel with ability to customize and rebuild kernel
- Open-source database experience (e.g. sqlite, MySQL), ANSI SQL
- Shell Scripting (Shell, Perl, python)
- Webserver development utilizing apace/mod_perl
- Automated unit-testing techniques and procedures
- Agile software development methodologies
- Experience in software design and technical documentation.
