Job Listing: Pharmacist

Aerotek is seeking a Pharmacist in Rockville, MD with the following responsibilities:

Responsible for providing clinical and distributive pharmacy services for all medications dispensed by Client Specialty Pharmacy Network. This position, acting in its professional capacity, directs supportive personnel such as Pharmacy Service Representatives and Pharmacy Technicians in their daily activities as it relates to managing and providing these services. Other critical responsibilities include assuring positive patient therapeutic outcomes by assessing therapy compliance and effectiveness, including appropriate coordination with other health care professionals. This position also impacts pharmacy operating efficiency and profitability by maximizing resources available to the pharmacist to provide cost-effective medication management and distributive functions.

Responsibilities:

- Accurate delivery of pharmacy services which include dispensing of medications, quality assurance, clinical monitoring, and control of inventory.
- Ensures that the pharmacy operates in accordance with Federal/State regulations, JCAHO standards, as well as company policies.
- Prior experience with clinical monitoring and management of patients, pumps, knowledge of IV supplies

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. also required with at least two years experience as a pharmacist.
- Must have an active license in good standing.

Pharmacy knowledge;
- Microsoft Office literacy; Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- 1-3 years experience in retail, hospital, or managed care setting.
- Exposure to clinical and analytical problem solving.
