Job Listing: Aviation - Director of Engineering

A global leader in commercial Aircraft maintenance and modification is currently seeking a Director of Engineering for their Dothan, AL facility.

This is a long term position for a Director-level professional with the experience and knowledge required to lead the company's Engineering Department.

Director of Engineering responsibilities include:
- Establish goals and objectives for engineering department personnel
- Design and enforce policies, procedures, and processes that outline engineering department operations
- Identify, acquire, and allocate necessary resources to include manpower needed for contractual obligations and corporate objectives
- Establish budgets, schedules, and work plans
- Hire, train, and manage department personnel

To Qualify, Applicant must have:
- Bachelors Degree in related field (Engineering Preferred)
- Director Level Experience
- Experience and Knowledge of Aircraft Conversions
- Experience with aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and repair operations
- Practical Experience working with Military Fixed-Wing Aircraft
- Computer simulation modeling and process layout experience
- Mathematical measurements and blueprint knowledge

Experience with Commercial, Fixed-Wing Aircraft preferred

* Must possess a current Security Clearance, or have the ability to obtain *
* Masters Degree Preferred *
