POSITION: Product Design Engineer

LOCATION: Vacaville, CA

COMPENSATION: $70-90K/year, D.O.E. Plus benefits.

The qualified individual for the Product Design Engineer position must be committed to his/her career development. Candidate must have strong hands-on experience in prototyping and taking a concept through the production phase. An individual with previous experience with machine design within the food industry and designing machine parts on a commercial level would be a plus.

A Product Design Engineer should have the following capabilities:
-Experience in hands-on product development
-Rapid prototyping and development
-Strong proficiency with SolidWorks (most recent version is a plus), equivalent AutoCad 3D considered
-Plastic part design (injection, blow, rotational, thermoform, structural)
-Experience in metal stamping (sheet metal, machining)
-Experience working with electrical assemblies
-Product improvement and failure analysis
