Job Listing: Effluent Water Chemist

We are currently taking applications for an Analytical Chemist.

*Degree preferred but would accept candidates with 5 plus years of applicable experience.
*Effluent Water background required within manufacturing environment (municipality experience would work as well)
*5 plus years experience with determining efficiency for plant processes to ensure that plant effluent met water pollution control requirements for municipalities or utility companies
*Maintained and operate all laboratory equipment
*Knowledge of laboratory documentation
*Manage up to 3 effluent production workers
*COD / BOD testing
*Firm understanding and knowledge of EPA and standard methods
*QC/QA screened waste streams for compatibility of treatment with system
*Must be able to continue existing relationship with area utilities board
*Lean manufacturing experience a plus
*Must be proficient with MS suite of programs and basic statistical analysis programs
