Job Listing: Project Engineer

Mechanical design and engineering of automated test equipment. Apply mechanical design skills in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks for concept and design activities within Powertrain Test applications. Assist in the try-out and debug of machines on the floor. Work within a multi-disciplinary design team, interpret customer requirements, and assist in reducing project lead times through standardization of Powertrain Test designs.

Key Duties:
1. Design, detail, and check of automated test and gage equipment.
2. Assist in machine start-up and debug on the assembly floor.

Education & Experience Required:
1. 10 years mechanical design experience in automotive field (Powertrain Test experience preferred).
2. Experience working with Powertrain components (axles, engines, transmissions, etc...)


Travel: 5%-20% anticipated. Primarily travel to customer sites for meetings and field support of equipment.
