Job Listing: Operator Engineer-Chemical/Mechanical

An innovative research facility is hiring a Entry Level-Mid Level Chemical Engineer.

The candidate will be performing chemical process-related research in a specific project, principally hands-on operating of chemical pilot plants. A knowledge of thermodynamics and chemical principles needed for this task and other work as assigned. Assignments may include a variety of spreadsheet calculations and data reduction, parts and equipment sizing, selection, and procurement; procedure development; and information searching. Equipment assembly, working with piping and tubing, and simple fabrication is part of the job. Write specific technical reports, instructions, and procedures, and contributes to similar group-written documents.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Engineering degree required, prefer chemical engineering or other closely related engineering field. Mechanical engineering acceptable.

Knowledge of process simulation software , chemical process-related research and hands-on operating of chemical pilot plant. Knowledge of thermodynamics and chemical principles is required.
