Job Listing: Senior Electronics Component Engineer

Senior Electronics Component Engineer. This individual will manage the selection, approval, and use of electronic components in electronic products.

Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to selecting and approving components for use in new products, coordinating component obsolescence management efforts, assisting in component failure investigations, and resolving component availability issues. The individual in this position will create component management plans, component drawings, and other engineering documentation related to control of electronic component usage for new products.

Desired experience includes understanding of supplier quality test and screening methods, lead-free manufacturing issues, component life cycle management, and component failure analysis. Also, familiarity with Microsoft Access, component change notice tracking systems, military or aerospace electronics, and electronic circuit design are a plus.
