Job Listing: Design Engineer
This person will develop Damage Control products in accordance with specifications requirements.
Must be capable of reading engineering drawings and using the information to develop damage control products.
Must be capable of using computer programs to develop damage control diagrams or databases.
Some basic programming experience is desired.
An understanding of remote operated systems is needed.
Applicant should have Hull, Pipe, and HVAC or Electrical background.
Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing and planning group to support the development of all damage control label plate products.

Position normally requires an associate degree in drafting/design or applicable technical field plus four years drafting experience.
Develops design models / drawings according to engineering diagrams and ship specifications.
