Our Chicago Corporate office is looking for a Professional Search Manager
Job Summary:
The Professional Search Manager provides leadership in all direct placement activities within an assigned region. This includes, hiring, co-managing and mentoring Professional Placement Recruiters and supporting branch team efforts in generating direct placement revenue. The Professional Placement Manager has the responsibility to create, maintain and/or increase Professional Placement revenue while holding teams accountable for production and achieving forecasted goals. This is accomplished by developing new business, increasing existing business, and orchestrating successful and profitable operations. Work non-traditional business hours as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recruit, screen, advise on hire, train, co-supervise, and develop Professional Placement recruiters in an effort to create strong team members that contribute to the success and growth of territories.
· Initiate regular communication with recruiting staff and management relative to customer service priorities and business opportunities.
· Monitor customer satisfaction and satisfaction of candidates with our service.
· Ride with Volt sales representation to train them on developing business, based on the benefits of Volt Professional Placement.
· Develop Professional Placement accounts independently, maintaining own sales funnel
· Complete or oversee daily, weekly and monthly reporting, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
· Accountable for meeting/exceeding regional direct placement budgets
· Interface with Volt corporate departments.
· Handle general Human Resource functions such as compensation, wage and salary, fair employment practices and other regulations regarding employment including performance reviews, disciplinary actions and terminations of in-house employees.
· Encourage cooperation, teamwork and an open exchange of ideas among staff and region.
· Lead and coordinate training sessions on Professional Placement best practices, following a standardized curriculum.
· Conduct bi-weekly direct placement order and candidate review sessions with recruiting teams and leadership.
· Facilitate contests and goal setting to achieve budget
· One-on-one development sessions with Volt branch associates.
· Lead and coordinate training sessions for direct placement supporting technologies
· Special projects to support direct placement activities as assigned
The following is a list of duties and responsibilities of the Professional Placement Recruiters AND the Professional Placement Manager:
· Identify, recruit, and interview industry professionals to build an active database of qualified candidates.
· Conduct behavior-based interviews to qualify the candidate’s professional strengths, accomplishments, motivations and personal career objectives.
· Generate viable job orders from customers – taking accurate job descriptions and understanding company requirements and cultures so that an accurate match can be made.
· Submit appropriately screened candidates to the customer, guiding the placement process through finalization including negotiations of salary, benefits and fees.
· Develop candidate presentations highlighting professional achievements and references.
· Prepare candidates for client interviews, providing them with the client’s objectives for the position and highlighting segments of their work history that will compliment those objectives.
· Spend dedicated time actively marketing to management level executives both candidates and positions through telephone, e-mail and correspondence.
· Negotiate placement fee agreements and employment offers with key decision-makers in a variety of industries.
· Participate in sales and training seminars geared toward branch recruiting teams.
· Complete all required data entry and requisition forms.
· Accountable to track and generate weekly activity reports to management.
· Develop business through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments with new, reactivated and existing customers.
· Participation in networking organizations.
· Interfacing with the region’s sales and management team, including Branch Managers, Account Managers, Recruiters, Personnel Assistance, Area Managers, Regional Managers and Vice Presidents.
· Maintain current knowledge of competitors within territory.
