Job Listing: Senior Accountant

Quiet, mid-size and growing company has newly created position for an Accountant with some light finance skills. As Senior Accountant, you will work with Controller supporting all general accounting functions of the company, to include day to day GL work, financial statement preparation, internal reporting, month-end close, as well as providing special project support and ad hoc analyses.

Candidates should have strong accounting fundamentals and be comfortable in a fast paced, unstructured, and "special project" oriented environment. As this is really a "manager in training" position, candidates should also be prepared to take ownership of various tasks and additional responsibility as necessary to get to the next level.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors in Accounting
* CPA or CPA candidate a +
* Minimum 3-5 years corporate accounting experience
* Experience in mid-size company or larger
* Well versed in month-end close
* Solid systems skills - preferably Great Plains
