Job Listing: Business Development Representative

A major client in loss prevention is currently looking for a qualified professional to join their sales team. This representative will qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities for the field sales team.

Responsibilities:

-Identify and qualify potential prospects through proactive outbound calls
-Conduct prompt follow up to inquiries generated by marketing campaigns
-Track marketing programs and provide feedback on quality of leads
-Effectively utilize inquiry rating and lead qualification system
-Adhere to all current sales methodologies and processes
-Capture all relevant information using Salesforce.com
-Generating and qualifying leads
-Managing leads by tracking and following up on them
-Producing activity reports
-Work with Sales Reps to cross generate leads

Requirements:

-Minimum of three years experience with prospecting and qualifying sales leads via outbound phone calling in a service based company
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Knowledge of retail and/or loss prevention industry a plus
-Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
