Job Listing: Multiple IT Openings

TEKsystems is seeking skilled IT Professionals for a large government agency in the Baltimore area. Our client will be hiring in multiple IT capacities such as QA Analysts, .NET Developers, Java Developers, Mainframe Programmers and Business Analysts. The skill levels and experience will vary from Junior to Senior anywhere from 1-10 years of experience. Additional details are as follows:

Location: Baltimore, MD

Experience: Junior to Senior Level

Duration: Temp to Perm


Mainframe Programmer:

Mainframe programming skills in COBOL, CICS, JCL with experience in development, validation, and testing.
Working knowledge of DB2; ability to troubleshoot and understand the syntax, etc.
Must possess strong development skills, but also have analytical skills in creating life cycle documentation.

Business Analyst:

Requirements gathering/requirements analysis skills, including the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
Experience with Joint Application Design and Rapid Application Design methodologies, including use case analysis and development.
Proven experience in systems analysis, structured analysis, and structured design.


QA Analyst:

Experience with manual test script design and execution
Extensive experience testing telephone-based (voice recognition/menu-driven) applications
Mercury Quality Center
Test planning
Defect-tracking


Java Developers:

JAVA software development
JAVA Server Page (JSP) development
JAVA Script development
WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD)
WebSphere Application Server (WAS), version 5.0/5.1
Structured Query Language (SQL)
JAVA Database Connectivity (JDBC)
RAD 6.0
STRUTS framework
Extensible Markup Language (XML)
Enterprise JAVA Bean (EJB)
Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language (DHTML)
Web Services experience to include SOAP and WSDL
Extensive analytical experience in computer applications, software development, systems integration, and related disciplines
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Extensive knowledge and experience in gathering requirements and other SDLC documents.

.NET Developers:

Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, VB, XML, XSLT, DHTML, VB Script, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SQL
Experience in Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET, C#, (Required)
Experience in SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 and stored procedures
