Position Title: Senior Mechanical Designer

Description: This position involves the mechanical design & drafting of structural steel and/or aluminum weldments.

Qualifications:
- Experience in Solidworks design software
- Must have 8+ years of demonstrated mechanical design & drafting experience, with knowledge of producing weldment drawings.
- Knowledge of producing drawings in accordance with MIL standards MIL-ST-100 and MIL-STD-3100 and ANSY Y14.5M (This Standard establishes uniform practices for stating and interpreting dimensioning, tolerancing, and related requirements for use on engineering drawings and in related documents).
- Experience with weldment fabrication and drawings that address the fabrication process and required sequence of operations, including all required dimensions, notes, weld joints, machining & complete BOM’s.
- Manager specifically states that he will not consider any degreed engineers for these vacancies.
