Job Listing: Field Mapper

A national, fully integrated environmental consulting firm is currently seeking a Telecommunications Mapper for their office in Killeen, TX.

Candidates should expect to travel around on a large military base and identify telecommunication fixtures and map them using a GPS device.

The best candidates will have experience with cable installation and GPS.



Responsibilities:

-Field mapping of telecommunications infrastructure

-Verify existing record drawings, inventory utilities, and add new communications related features

-Operate high-accuracy GPS equipment

Requirements:

-Telecommunications mapping background

-U.S. citizenship required for security clearance

-Experience with high-accuracy survey grade GPS field equipment
