Job Listing: Software Engineer - Radar Systems

Our client is renowned small business servicing the defense and government sectors on multiple contracts across the United States and foreign countries. Due to their long standing success and broad client base our client is in the midst of further expansion and need to add a new member to make an immediate impact. They are currently in need of an experienced Radar Software Engineer.

Software Engineer – Radar responsibilities:
*Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems, including, but not limited to application software, utility software, development software, and diagnostic software.
*Participates in the development of software integration, testing, built-in test requirements and methods, test strategies, devices, and systems.
*Will provide support to the Production sub-IPT (Integrated Product Team) with the following tasks:
**Evaluation of Digital Signal Processors(DSP)/Field Programmable gate Arrays (FPGA)
**Development of software metrics and software performance estimates
**Thorough-put, memory, and system resource calculations
**Review of technical specifications
**Generation of acquisition related documents such as Statement of Work

Software Engineer – Radar requirements:
*BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
*Must possess a minimum of 5+ years’ working with radar systems design and development
*Must have knowledge of test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
*Requires proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
*Experience with analysis and test software such as Labview
*Familiarity with firmware and real-time operating systems
*Engineering experience with DOD/Military standards.
*Familiarity with Acquisition Management.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and apply corrective actions within a fast-paced environment

***Candidate must have a TOP SECRET clearance with current Single Scope Background Investigation. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.***
