HFM – Oracle Hyperion Financial's Management Specialist
Responsibilities
-Hyperion Financial Management implementation experience (System 9x);
-Ability to design an HFM application based on TAQA's needs
-Assist with Senior Oracle Hyperion Architects to architect DEV, QA and Production environments.
-Assist in defining Hyperion HFM strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and implement solutions.
-Work in collaborative teams developing requirements for HFM and future state business design using industry best practices.
-Experienced with Hyperion system 9x development and support –
-Interpret Financial statements and Financial data
-Understanding of chart of accounts, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow concepts
-Good Knowledge of debit and credit, inter-company transactions, elimination entries and other standard accounting principles
-Work with Reporting / Financial support team to ensure optimum configuration of the application and its components.
-Work with members of IT Infrastructure team to ensure that Hyperion servers are backed up and recoverable.
-Ensure overall security compliance and auditing of applications. Document all regulations required for Hyperion System 9x such as running various reports from Shared Services and performing monthly audit on User/Group roles assigned
-Provide application specific expertise and Knowledge transfer for Hyperion functions such as Integration, Scripting, Security and Reporting to various members of the team and end users.
-Provide professional system analysis to internal and remote users of TAQA.
-Document complete implementation process provided by the business.
-Identify gaps in business processes and provide input into configuration and implementation of the system to overcome those gaps. Responsible for managing issues, perform analysis and provide resolution
-Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Hyperion HFM products.
-Experience in application maintenance, web form/grid maintenance, rule maintenance, and security creation/maintenance.
-Design/Implementation of Hyperion Reports
-provide project support for developers and users
-Knowledge of Intercompany elimination process; Knowledge of Multi- currency process.
-Must have experience supporting Business users.
-Excellent communication skills;
-Great interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Information Systems
-CPA, CMA, MBA or other relevant higher education (a plus)
-Minimum 2 years of experience with HFM, Hyperion Enterprise, and / or Hyperion FDM is a plus.
-3-10 years experience in Information Technology. significant Hyperion/HFM exposure and have good finance background
-Experience with Hyperion Essbase (Ideal but not essential);
-Project Management experience (a plus)
-Strong personal computer skills
-Strong IT skills such as general ledger, database or programming knowledge (a plus)
-Willingness and passion to expand current knowledge base and learn new skills
-Ability to excel in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment
-Organized, thorough, detail-oriented work style
-Very strong verbal and written communication skills
-Friendly personality and strong customer service focus
-Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week for approximately 50% – 75% of the year
