A large defense company is seeking a Sr. RF Project Engineer.
The successful candidate will act as a project engineer supporting the space product line in development efforts for programs. Will lead a project team in defining requirements, planning and executing project plans, design reviews and production release of modified or new products. Will generate BOE’s, BOM’s ECO’s for both development and standard products (build to print), update program EAC’s, support design review process, engineering model test and development, transition designs to production and customer interface meetings from the proposal phase throughout delivery. Will also prepare and present technical data at customer sites. Must be able to complete project goals with minimum supervision.
Required: BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of industry experience. MSEE and 5 years minimum space hardware experience desired. Must have experience in systems engineering with good RF design and digital communications background, RF and mixed signal circuit theory, phase lock loops, test equipment expertise, design and development process controls, proposals, and marketing presentations. Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Desired: Experience with Agilent ADS, active and passive microwave circuit design and analog circuits is desired. Familiarity with high frequency design (RF, IF, PLL synthesizers, mod/demod, LNA’s and power amps) and implementation in receivers, transmitters and/or transponders at L/S/X/K Bands. Familiarity with various modulation formats (PM, BPSK, QPSK, FM). Experience with products designed for space applications. Demonstrated experience in project management of high reliability communications equipment
