Job Listing: Senior Simulation Engineer

Position: Senior Flight Simulator Engineer
Location: Dallas, Texas
Pay: $75,000 - $80,000 / Year

A leading aerospace company in the Dallas, Texas area is looking for a Senior Flight Simulator Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following:

- A minimum of 10 years of direct engineering experience in the flight simulation or aerospace industry
-Experience in advanced simulation equipment and computational system environments
- BS degree in an applicable engineering or aerospace field or have a minimum of an applicable AS degree with a balance of related experience
- Experience with physical sciences including electronics, mechanics, optics, hydraulics, pneumatics, audio, video, and other associated hardware systems typically utilized in simulation equipment
- Experience with computer operating systems, visual image generators, simulation software development, and associated peripheral equipment
-Experience with technical documentation systems, revision systems, and configuration management practices

The candidate will be tasked with the following:

- Coordination and management of training equipment suppliers and vendors during the specification, source selection, acceptance, delivery, and ongoing support of these devices in an operational environment
- Coordination and management of complex training device modification programs to include date, parts, and supplier management; technical design and fabrication analysis; actual design and implementation; testing, and regulatory coordination; and overall entry into service planning and management
- Coordination and management of all government regulatory efforts associated with the training equipment including the FAA and other country’s agencies
- Coordination of data collection efforts associated with key performance indicators including analysis
of the data and providing positive and negative feedback to supervision
- Provide leadership, guidance and training to entry and intermediate level engineers
