Job Listing: Flash Developer/Designer

TEKsystems has teamed with one of the leading advertising agencies in the Southeast, to find an energetic and creative Flash Application Designer to develop online dynamic Web sites, banners and rich/social-media components for an exciting portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

-Develop Flash-based Web sites, advertising and associated applications
-Create Flash motion graphics and video clips for Web sites
-Database design and implementation
-Work with creative, production and development teams

Experience:

-Experience building dynamic, interactive web applications with ActionScript 2.0 coding in Flash, including: classes, XML, Web services, and dynamic content loading. Some experience with ActionScript 3.0 is a plus.
-Applicants should have knowledge of multimedia suite design and development tools for Web-based technologies (i.e. Dreamweaver, Flash, ColdFusion, Flex).
-Experience with Javascript, ColdFusion, XML, CSS, PHP, ASP and other programming languages.
-BS, BFA in Computer Science or Design related field, AAS in Computer Programming with 2 years experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience

-Understanding of recent design and technology trends
-Ability to respond to multiple team inputs and address all concerns
-Excellent organizational skills
-Photoshop Layer management
-Flash Library management
-Project folder hierarchy
-Flash animation, motion graphics and UI development
-Understanding of: HTML / JavaScript / ActionScript / Lingo / CSS / and Web and IAB standards
-Understanding of video compression, formats and platforms
