Job Listing: Senior Electrical Engineer

An industry recognized engineering consulting firm in Dallas, TX is seeking a senior level Electrical Engineer with a PE license. This position is for a senior level Electrical Engineer having full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, budgeting and coordinating complex assignments. This individual will be expected to work independently as the electrical lead or as project manager. This individual will also be responsible for new business development activities for both multi-discipline and electrical only type projects.

Requirements:

- Experience in industrial or water/waste water plants.
- Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer, by successful completion of the NCEES Electrical Engineering Practice Examination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point).
- Proficiency with SKM Power*Tools or other electrical system analysis software.
- Proficient working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- Proficient in the low and medium voltage electrical distribution design.
- Proficient in developing protective relaying schemes for medium and low voltage distribution systems (power exp with 480 and 4160 a huge plus).
- Prepare and develop probable construction cost estimates using RS Means and similar construction estimation resources.
- Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Project Management Scheduling (MS Projects or Primavera) software is a plus.

  • INDUSTRIAL OR WATER/WASTEWATER PLANT EXPERIENCE
  • LOAD FLOW CALCULATIONS
  • PE LICENSE IS REQUIRED
