Job Listing: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Aerotek's client, located in Memphis, TN, is in need of a Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee the design and development of mechanical devices and enclosures for OEM products.

The position requires mechanical design in the following areas:
- electromechanical devices and products for consumer and industrial markets.
- concept and detailed specifications of mechanisms for motion and position control functions.
- specification of power conversion and transmission elements such as motors, solenoids, belt and gear drives.
- packaging of PCBAs, cabling and connectors.
- common manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, stamping, machining and casting.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years mechanical design and development experience.
- 3D computer aided design and/or finite element method experience required.
