Job Listing: Medical Insurance Underwriters

A large Medical company is currently seeking a Medical Insurance Underwriter to work at their corporate facilities in Naperville, IL. This is a full-time position.

The job description for this position is as follows:
- Reviewing applications (individual and small group) and gathering data.
- Determine the insurability of each proposed insured through the evaluation of medical, non-medical, demographic and psychographic factors, and contractual elements.
- Assessing risk and determining premiums.
- Follows structured training phases to build productivity and analysis skills.
- Prepares for an Underwriting consultant role through mastery of underwriting fundamentals and demonstrating more complex knowledge of concepts and impacts of underwriter decision authority.

Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- 1-2+ years of medical underwriting experience.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
