Job Listing: Software Application Engineer

Job Description:

Develop, create, and modify web services components for applications, utilizing Java, J2EE, JSP, DB2, SOA, Struts, and COBOL CICS technologies. Analyze user needs, and develop and customize software for customer and customer end user. Confer with the project manager, systems analysts, software architects and developers to design systems and obtain information on project limitations, capabilities, performance and requirements. Modify existing software to correct errors, to accommodate new hardware and improve performance. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Perform testing of CICS code.

Other Job Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, any Engineering field or foreign equivalent. Must have at least 3 years experience in the job offered, or a substantially similar position as a Systems Engineer or Software Specialist.
