Job Listing: Civil Engineer

Civil Engineering Firm in Horsham, PA is looking for a Highway Engineer to join their team.


Looking for someone with 4-8 years experience with highway engineering- geometric design, cost estimating, drainage design, and bid package preparation.


Job Requirements:

- Must be a PE or have the ability to become a PE within 1 year.
- Ability to perform with limited supervision.
- Possess: excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills needed include MS Office, plus experience with MicroStation, Inroads, ECMS, Open Plan software.


Must have Highway Engineering responsibilities include:

- Establishing design criteria, developing horizontal and vertical alignments, roadway modeling, typical sections, cross sections, and drainage layouts.
- Preparing detailed technical reports
- Developing construction cost estimates and construction schedules
- Preparing specifications and organizing plan development
- Performing quality assurance and quality control plan checks as required
