Job Listing: Business Analyst

TekSystems is currently interviewing Business Analyst for a contract opportunity that has the potential to turn into permanent employment. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst working with unauthenticated websites.


This position formulates and defines the most complex systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Develop or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Guides and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts. Works at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis. The Business Analyst will work in a diverse and complex set of eBusiness Applications. You must have Web/eBusiness experience to be considered.

- Demonstrates superior communication skills (oral and written) to facilitate, interview, and actively listen in a collaborative manner.

- Collaborates with client to help client understand project-related changes including new processes, procedures and functionality.

- A seasoned presenter and will be required to plan, facilitate& present ideas when participating in requirements gathering sessions. Will frequently present to audience of Project Team, Clients, Vendors, Management, Senior Management, and Executive Management.

Must be able to effectively understand technical questions and explain requirements to diverse audience types.

-Demonstrates expertise in the design and creation of the business solution and collaboration on the technical design on multiple projects whose scope and size are the most complex. Participate in identification and resolution of issues in order to assist the project team to stay on schedule and meet business requirements.

- Leads project sub-teams and collaborates with other BAs (Intermediate, Advanced and Lead) in identifying and mitigating project risk, exhibiting expertise at project conflict resolution. Independently identifies and assesses areas of potential business risk and mitigation, excelling at project conflict resolution. Self-aware and knows when and to whom to escalate issues.
