Job Listing: Informatica BI Consultant

The National Recruiting Center of TEKsystems has an immediate need for an Informatica BI Consultant to work on a contract basis in the Hattiesburg, MS area.

The project is scheduled to start as soon as possible and last at least for 4 months with the possibility of extension. An updated resume and compensation expectations are required for consideration on this position.

**Candidates must be able to obtain US Security Clearance. No corp-corps permitted for this assignment. Candidates must be able to work as W2 employee of TEKsystems.**

- Experience with ETL lifecycle - data extraction, controls, error handling

- Experience with Informatica - 2 to 3 years recent development environment

- 4+ years of experience with Data warehousing

- Knowledge of Informatica server administration is preferred

Specifically, the contractor shall provide information technology consulting and project management services for integration of the On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) technology into warehouse / data mart, and will advise on the structure of the database’s design to efficiently support OLAP and matching tool capabilities to requirements.

The Consultant needs to have a working knowledge of the Cognos software suite used to interrogate data warehouses. The Consultant will need to provide solutions that offer efficient and effective ways of viewing data in a user-friendly tool, to include improvement of current and future presentation of data to the customers. Additionally, the Consultant will need to establish web and client server instances in development and production environments, and support requirements for on-line analytical processing (OLAP) through the use of Cognos software to integrate into the appropriate infrastructure.
