Job Listing: Software Engineer

Position: Software Engineer

Reports to: Chief Scientist

Position Summary: Prepare algorithm design for “Lightening Mapping” sensor technology under the direction of our Chief Scientist. Job will require 40 hrs/week beginning late October & concluding 6-8 months later.

Job Qualifications:
1. Extensive work related experience with a minimum of 10 years.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences.
3. In-depth knowledge & understanding of software engineering practices.
4. A high level of analytical ability in resolving complex problems.
5. Good oral and written communication skills.
6. Good leadership and interpersonal skills
7. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their limitations.

Physical Demands:
1. Required to sit at a desk or computer workstation, stand, walk, reach in all direction and bend to the floor.
2. May be required to exert 20-30 pounds of force occasionally.

Working Conditions:
1. A normal office environment.
2. High level of noise from machines in a manufacturing environment, on occasion.
3. Physical hazards from moving machinery and equipment on occasion.

Additional Duties:
The employee may be required to perform other duties within the organization as directed by the operations manager.
