Job Listing: Senior Accountant

Aerotek, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant for their client in Raleigh, N.C.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller. Primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Preparing financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
- Project manage the implementation of new general ledger and billing systems
- Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately
- Prepare and manage monthly account reconciliation
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls

A qualified Senior Accountant will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong understanding of accounting theory
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- CPA designation preferred
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal direction
