Job Title:
Infrasturcture Engineer


Duties:
Specific to Great West Project:
Serves as Storage Engineer supporting Great West Storage integration specific to SAN and NAS Infrastructure.
Responsible for management of SAN and NAS storage infrastructure.
Install and configure storage devices.
Troubleshooting storage availability, connectivity and performance.
Maintain and patch storage devices and associated software.
Work with support organizations to identify infrastructure enhancements.
Integrate and test SAN and NAS Infrastructure.


Skills:
NetAPP storage devices
Microsoft Exchange on NetAPP

Solid understanding of storage networking fundamentals, concepts, and components, including storage subsystems including: NAS, SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SAN Directors, HBAs, virtualization, zoning, LUN masking, Replication.

Experience in complex SAN environments with multiple Unix/Windows hosts in an IBM (SAN Volume Controller, DS8000)Network Appliance (FAS3000/6000) storage, and McData/Brocade (m-6140m m-i10k) fabric switches.
Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.
Familiarity with various disk based high availability and Disaster Recovery techniques.
