Job Listing: Project Engineering Technician

Aerotek is now hiring a Project Engineering Technician in the Mars area.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist project manager in the procurement of equipment components. This task includes contacting suppliers for pricing and delivery information, procurement duties (issue P.O.), scheduling deliveries, verification of shipments (packing slips), verification of invoicing (correct quantities and invoiced pricing). Items to be procured included drive components, pin mixer liners, pins, pin tips, spray system components, and a variety of other equipment specific components.

- Coordinate the supply of spare parts per customer request. This task includes purchasing of items manufactured outside of the company (ie., gages, hoses, drive components, pin mixer liners, pins, pin tips, etc.). In addition, for components manufactured in house the individual will be responsible for issuing the unit ticket (manufacturing instructions). All of these tasks involve the utilization of our integrated manufacturing software package (Vantage by Epicor).

- Support shop fabrication management by ensuring all manufacturing information is concise, correct and complete.

- Assist manager in the processing of test material. From time to time this will involve physically interacting with personnel and the palletizing equipment, testing equipment, and other process related tasks.

- Work with engineering personnel to develop technical specification required for the manufacturing process.

- Assist engineering in contacting equipment suppliers for quotations, technical specification communication, collecting and assembling equipment/system manuals,

- AutoCad experience and knowledge a plus.

Depending on experience this position pays $42,000-50,000 annually. Interested applicants should apply.
